Chris Pither | Reading

This week for reading we did "Making Connections".  Making connections is a reading strategy that helps find the meaning in a text by connecting it to their knowledge.

We did 3 types of connections they were text to self, text to text and text to world.  We had to get 2 things from the book and write it down and then connect it to our self.

For text to text we had to get another 2 things and write it down then connect it to another book with another text from another book that is a little similar.

Than text to world was writing down another 2 things from another part of the book and comparing it to some things around the world.

I found this activity enjoyable because it was interesting to find out more about Chris Pither.
