Character Trait | Reading.
The fact or opinion is when we say what we think a fact or opinion is.
A fact is a thing that has been proven or is already true, and an opinion is what you think.
First, we did a fact or opinion about Rahi, then once we finished that we did a fact or opinion on Patupaiarehe.
Lastly, we did the character trait, which is filling in information about the character that we chose.
I enjoyed doing this activity with my group.

Today, Shantis group focused on doing basic swimming.
First they talked about how to enter a pool safely. They put their hands to the side and put them on the pool edge,
then they turned and got into the pool
Next, they practised freestyle. they swam using any swimming technique, but their head needed to face the bottom of the pool. They then practised streamline.
After that, they learnt how to do a side stroke. They laid on their side in the water with one hand holding the board.
They had to kick to the other side of the pool.
Lastly, they did a dolphin dive. They dove into the water and lifted their back.
They repeated this to complete the dolphin dive.

Tangrams
Today I learnt how to make tangrams, I rearranged the pieces to make animal shapes.
First I made a square piece of paper because tangrams are made from a big square.
Then I folded the square into various shapes and cut them out.
Lastly I tried to make different animal shapes from the tangram pieces
This activity was challenging but enjoyable at the same time.
